This is the copper version of the P Magnifica emerald. Cao bang locale border of China.  They have some beautiful browns with still that hint of glimmery green below.

They are available in 6cts. They are nymphs. Very, very rare in the hobby. Nymphs are very small and need to be housed in something with very small ventilation holes till they grow bigger.

I have evolved keeping these over the years. From gasketed bins to Vaseline slathered arboreal enclosures now. For awhile they didnt do great. However, when I moved my emeralds and changed to a low heat 15w uva/uvb bulb combined with the extra airflow they have done so so much better. I also have a small fan from reptizoo that blows into the enclosure from the top. I mist them in the morning and night. When the soil seems to dry out I will moisten it again. But the fine misting spray over the branches and sides have worked way better too. These guys eat bee pollen and fish flakes. I do give them cucumber slices which they seem to love.

Bark flats laid against each other but with gaps are great. Lichen sticks they love and cork tubes. Mine dont understand the assignment and they hang out behind the cork tube.

As far as temps go that has evolved too. I still try to keep them around 80 but its usually in the upper 70's with the light. I havent gone up in wattage because they have done well with what I have now. Its just enough to give them warmth. What I changed last winter is i placed them in my cold closet. It gets into the low 50's. They seemed to do much better this spring as far as breeding goes. I was always scared to keep them that chilly but where they come from gets even colder.

I keep them both in a 12x12x18 reptizoo breakdown enclosure that I got from Amazon. There arent very many openings but they still seemed to get out so I Vaselined a line across the sides at the top and then I did the clips at the top for more measure incase one slipped through. I also did it on the side where the hinge is for the door because there are some spaces they can get through. Then along the door frame. Its worked incredibly well and I assume I will have to replace or refresh the Vaseline with time. But this has been by far the best way ive kept them.
